This new peak vise retains the durable, functional jaw design of the Peak rotary vise, as well as the stable, hi-visibility white base which Peak Vises are known for. Consturction is of hardened tool steel, stainless steel, and aircraft grade aluminum. The vise and base accept all PEAK accessoies with the exception of Peak's new material clip. The price will allow tiers on a budget a chance to own a very high quality tool and its light waight and smaller size make it an excellent travel vise for those who have another vise at home. This peak fly vise is offered only in a pedestal model, but the existing c-clamp option may be pruchased separately. This inexpensive peak vice is built with the same qulality, durability and well thought out design as Peak Rotary vise is renowned for. If you can't quite justify the price range of rotary, or would like a second, light weight, inexpensive vise for travel, or if you simply prefer a non-rotary vise this peak fly tying vise would be the perfect vise for you.
